Simon Kim, CFA, Senior Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager, is an experienced investment professional with more than 14 years of experience in equity research. Prior to joining Saturna, he was Director of Research at Rainier Investments as well as Director of International Research and senior portfolio manager at Columbia Wanger Asset Management. At Columbia he oversaw the Acorn International family of funds, comprising of four strategies and nearly $5B AUM. Before joining the industry, Mr. Kim was a consultant at McKinsey & Company’s Seoul and Frankfurt offices. 

Mr. Kim received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Boston College. He also earned his MBA with distinction from the University of Oxford. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and coaching youth sports.
