Max Kaiser, Head of Distribution, earned a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Yale University. Following Yale, Max worked for Saturna for five years as the company’s first marketing director before starting his own film production company, producing corporate and commercial videos for Fortune 500 companies.

After a nearly 20-year career in film where he received various accolades — including Emmy awards and a CINE Golden Eagle for his PBS documentary produced with Saturna colleague Monem Salam — Max returned to Saturna in 2022 to lead wholesaling operations. In 2024, Max’s role grew to include overseeing the company’s marketing.

Max serves on Saturna Capital’s board of directors as well as the Saturna Environmental board. He lives in Bellingham, Washington with his wife, kids, and various pets.
