Jimmy joined Saturna in 2025. He directs the firm’s technology strategy, vision, and implementation, drawing on over 20 years of experience as an investment-technology leader architecting resilient financial platforms. Mr. Noriega combines a deep engineering foundation with rigorous business training. He earned an MBA from Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and holds both a Master's and a B.S. in Computer Science from the City University of New York; his graduate research focused on evolutionary algorithms. Before joining Saturna, he held key leadership roles, including Interim CTO at Strategic Global Advisors and CTO at StoneCastle.

Previously, he led engineering teams specializing in program-trading and execution platforms at firms such as Morgan Stanley, Dresdner Kleinwort (Commerzbank), NYSE-TransactTools, and TradingScreen. Passionate about the intersection of AI, technology, and finance, Jimmy is also dedicated to offering technology education to low-income communities.
