Saturna Capital’s Patrick Drum Attends 8th Annual Middle East Investment Forum Panel
Bellingham, WA, May 10, 2024 – Patrick Drum, portfolio manager and senior investment analyst at Saturna Capital, participated as a panelist at the 8th annual Middle East Investment Forum. The forum took place in New York City on May 2, 2024.
The 2024 Middle East Investment Forum was hosted by the nonprofit organization ABANA (Arab Bankers Association of North America) and Bloomberg Intelligence, the research arm of Bloomberg LP. The purpose of the forum is for business leaders whose work is focused on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to discuss geopolitical risks, financial innovation, and investment opportunities in the MENA region. Mr. Drum was invited to participate as a speaker on the panel discussion.
Panel discussion topics included how governance and other ESG factors could impact Middle East valuations, and how the development of key sectors in the MENA region compares to that of developed and emerging markets.
Patrick Drum, MBA, CFA®, CFP®, is a senior investment analyst and portfolio manager of Saturna Sustainable Bond and Amana Participation funds. He is a former adjunct professor of finance for the Sustainable MBA Program at the Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI) currently known as Presidio Graduate School. Mr. Drum holds a BA in economics from Western Washington University and an MBA from Seattle University Albers School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a Certified Financial Planner™. Mr. Drum joined Saturna Capital in October 2014.
