Saturna’s Elizabeth Alm and Levi Zurbrugg discuss the transition to a low-carbon economy on Bloomberg podcast

Bellingham, WA, September 9, 2024 – Elizabeth Alm, CFA®, and Levi Zurbrugg MBA, CFA®, CPA®, senior investment analysts and portfolio managers at Saturna Capital, were featured guests on the Bloomberg Intelligence podcast, ESG Currents. The episode, “Saturna Capital Parses the Messy Energy Transition,” includes discussion on a variety of subjects related to sustainable investing.

Along with hosts Eric Kane and Chris Ratti, Elizabeth and Levi discuss the importance of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria in Saturna’s investment strategy and how we approach analyzing organizations through this lens.

Elizabeth and Levi touch on the importance of bonds in sustainable investing, the implications of indirect supply chain issues, and what challenges and opportunities lie ahead for those adhering to ESG criteria — among many other topics.
