Eligible recipients include children of imams, religious leaders, and chaplains who have a standing appointment at a US-based mosque.

Co-sponsors include UIF Corporation, the Center for Islam in the Contemporary World at Shenandoah University, and the Sterling Charitable Gift Fund.
