Aims to sustain high growth with rollout of Amana Funds institutional shares and ASEAN-focused fund launch during 2013
Bellingham, WA (September 10, 2013) —Saturna Capital Corporation, investment manager of the no-load Amana and Sextant Fund families and the Idaho Tax-Exempt Fund, earned Inc. magazine’s exclusive designation of “Five-Time Honoree” by ranking on the annual Inc. 500|5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies for the fifth consecutive year. About 65 percent of the companies on the Inc. 5000 have made the list before, but less than 20 percent have sustained high enough revenue growth to merit five appearances.

“Recent innovations continue to lay the groundwork for future expansion,” said Carten, “This fall we anticipate the launch of our first mutual fund in Malaysia, which will focus on investment opportunities in ASEAN economies, while here in the US we plan to roll out reduced-expense, institutional shares¹ of our flagship Amana Funds.”
