Saturna Capital's Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Year in Review

August 28, 2024 - The 2023-2024 fiscal year was a busy and exciting one for Saturna Capital. The themes of growth, excellence, and community dominated the year.

In terms of growth, Saturna celebrated $8.9 billion in assets under management at quarter end on June 30, 2024 — nearly $2 billion more than a year ago. Our podcast, Halal Money Matters, continued to expand its already rapidly growing reach, releasing an incredible 13 episodes this year.

Also important was the growth of our charitable giving. As of the end of 2023, Saturna crossed the $14 million mark in its giving, donating $14.1 million to 315 unique charitable organizations since 2007.

This growth doesn’t come without continued excellence and Saturna continued to display it in spades. Our thought leaders were featured in the media and beyond, contributing their perspectives to organizations such as Proactive Investors, Islamic Finance News, TheStreet, and CNBC. Investor’s Business Daily also featured Saturna as one its 12 Best Health Savings Account Providers for 2024.

None of this would be possible, though, without the community Saturna continued to foster this fiscal year. Be it representing the Amana Mutual Funds Trust at ICNA-MAS or receiving recognition from the Cambridge Islamic Fund Awards, Saturna’s people are always a welcome presence. We celebrated each other as well, spending the year welcoming tiny new members of the Saturna crew, recognizing career milestones, and swapping plants.

It is ultimately our dedication to each other, our shareowners, and our strongly held values that affords us the opportunity to continue thriving and do business without compromise.
